I get this quite a lot. ‘Why do you hate her? You’re also spanish’. Listen. The Penelope Cruz YOU know is not the same that I and ALL OF SPAIN knows.

She is rude, egocentric, arrogant and waaaaaaay overrated.

Of course she’ll say she’s proud to be spanish and that she loves her country and bla bla bla when she’s over there… but you know something? When she comes here, she barely gives interviews and does nothing better than insult the reporters that go to the airport to meet her.

After she won the Oscar, do you think she gave ONE interview in Spain? NO. Is that being PROUD of being spanish?

I invite you to come over here and ask anyone if they like Penelope. You’ll find none. Not only her, but Bardem as well.

I’m the first one who feels so goddamn happy and proud whenever a Spanish is successful, wether in sports or in the arts. But I will not stand someone who says one thing and then does the exact opposite.

That my friend is HYPOCRISY. And I hate that.
